PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: May 25, 2026

1. Introduction

PokeTrack.io ("PokeTrack," "we," "us," or "our") is a Pokemon Trading Card Game collection tracking and trading platform operated by MIG Development, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at poketrack.io and use our services, including our web application, card scanner, Pokedex, trade board, and related features (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are hashed and stored securely through our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) — we never store or have access to your plaintext password. You may also create a username for your public profile.

Signup Survey. During registration, we may ask optional questions about how you heard about PokeTrack and whether you have used similar apps. These responses are voluntary and used solely to improve our marketing and product.

Collection Data. You provide information about your Pokemon card collection, including which cards you own, quantities, and which sets you are tracking. This is the core data that powers your collection tracking experience.

Trade Board Listings. If you use the Trade Board, you designate cards as available for trade or on your want list. These listings may be visible to other PokeTrack users.

Price Alerts. You may set price alert thresholds for specific cards. We store these alert configurations to notify you of price changes.

Support Tickets. If you contact us through our Contact form, we collect the category, subject, and description of your inquiry, along with your user ID, to respond to your request.

Feature Waitlist. If you sign up for early access to upcoming features, we store your email and the feature you expressed interest in.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Usage Data and Events. We log certain user events to understand how our Service is used and to improve it. This includes login events, feature usage (e.g., which pages you visit within the app, scanner usage, Pokedex views), session counts, and last login timestamps. This data is stored in our database and associated with your user ID.

Cookies and Local Storage. We use cookies and browser local storage for the following purposes:

2.3 Information Collected by Third Parties

Google Analytics (GA4). We use Google Analytics to understand overall usage patterns, traffic sources, and feature engagement. Google Analytics may collect your IP address, browser information, and usage data. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Reddit Pixel. We use Reddit's tracking pixel to measure the effectiveness of any advertising campaigns on Reddit. Reddit's use of this data is governed by Reddit's Privacy Policy.

Stripe. We use Stripe to process payments for our Pro subscription. When you subscribe, Stripe collects your payment information directly. We do not store your full credit card number — we only store a Stripe customer ID and subscription ID. Stripe's use of your data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Resend. We use Resend as our email delivery provider to send transactional emails, weekly digests, feature announcements, and onboarding campaigns. Resend's use of your data is governed by Resend's Privacy Policy.

Supabase. Our backend infrastructure is hosted on Supabase. Supabase's handling of data is governed by Supabase's Privacy Policy.

Vercel. Our website and application are hosted on Vercel. Vercel's handling of data is governed by Vercel's Privacy Policy.

TCGPlayer (Affiliate Links). When you click outbound links to TCGPlayer from within our Service, these links contain affiliate tracking parameters. We receive aggregate commission data but no personal information about your TCGPlayer purchases.

2.4 Card Scanner (Camera Access)

Our AI Card Scanner feature requests access to your device's camera to photograph and identify Pokemon cards. When you use the scanner:

2.5 Discord Integration (Optional)

You may optionally connect your Discord account via OAuth. When you do so, we receive your Discord user ID and basic profile information (username, avatar). We store your Discord user ID to enable Discord-related features. You can disconnect your Discord account at any time through your profile settings.
