Japanese Pokémon card tracker

Japanese sets have always meant a second tool, a spreadsheet, or nothing at all. PokeTrack tracks 254 Japanese sets and about 26,726 cards in the same place as your English collection — real card art, live prices, and the same completion tracking.

What you get

  • Real Japanese card art — every card, not a placeholder.
  • Live prices from TCGplayer, with eBay asking prices where TCGplayer has none, refreshed daily, in your currency.
  • Japanese rarities as they are printed — AR, SAR, SR, CHR, not English approximations.
  • Set codes you can search — M4, SV2a, S12a shown next to the English name.
  • One portfolio — Japanese and English progress side by side.
  • Price alerts and share cards work on Japanese cards too.

One thing that does not work yet: the card scanner is English-only. Point it at a Japanese card and it will say so rather than guess wrong. That is next on the list.

Questions

Can I track Japanese Pokémon cards?

Yes. PokeTrack tracks 254 Japanese sets — roughly 26,726 cards — with the same completion rings, portfolio value, price alerts and share cards used for English sets. Switch between English and Japanese with one tap on the Sets screen.

Where do the Japanese card prices come from?

TCGplayer market prices for Japanese singles, refreshed nightly — the same source and schedule as our English prices. They are shown in USD, or converted to your display currency if you have set one. Where TCGplayer has no price for a card, which is more common for Japanese cards, PokeTrack.io shows an eBay asking price and labels it as one.

Which Japanese sets are included?

Every era from the 1999 Base Expansion Pack through Mega Evolution, including Pokémon Card 151, VSTAR Universe, Shiny Treasure ex and Ninja Spinner, plus the promo runs (SM-P, SV-P, S-P, XY-P, BW-P) and starter decks.

Does the card scanner work on Japanese cards?

Not yet. Scanning a Japanese card returns a clear message rather than a guess, because a collector number on its own can match many cards across languages. Japanese scanning is what we are building next.

Can I track Japanese and English sets together?

Yes, in the same account and the same portfolio. Your collection view shows progress in both languages side by side, with a JP badge on Japanese sets.

Is it free?

Yes. Three sets are free in any language, and a Japanese set uses a set slot exactly like an English one. You can also own up to 100 cards from any other set, Japanese or English. Pro removes both limits.
