Menu Icons, a Collapsible Sidebar, an Insights Heat Map and a Reorganized Settings
Four improvements to how PokeTrack.io looks and works: icons on every menu item, a sidebar you can collapse on desktop, a heat map in Insights, and a Settings page that is easier to find your way around.
An icon on every menu item
Every item in the app menu now has an icon, in the desktop sidebar and in the top bar on phones. The marketing site’s header and the tabs inside pages are unchanged.
Collapse the sidebar on desktop
On screens 1024px and wider, the Collapse sidebar button at the bottom of the sidebar narrows it to a slim icon bar, and Expand sidebar brings it back. PokeTrack.io remembers your choice in that browser. The icon bar hides the sub-items under Sets and Insights. Phones and narrow screens keep the top bar.
A heat map in Insights
Insights now shows sets as tiles, sized by value and colored by how card prices moved over 30 days, 90 days or a year. On the Market tab it maps every set, grouped by era; on the You tab it maps your own sets. Switch between sizing by value and giving every set the same size, hover or tap a tile for its details, or switch to a list. Each tile says whether its value is TCGplayer prices or eBay asks and shows the date the prices are as of. A set with no price value can’t be sized, so it is counted separately rather than left out silently. Insights is still labeled Beta.
Settings, reorganized
Settings is now split into sections: Account, Plan & billing, Invite friends, Notifications, Privacy & data, Connected accounts, Help & support and Danger zone. Under Privacy & data, Download your data saves every card you own, across all sets, as a CSV file. It’s free for everyone.
On screens 1024px and wider, use the Collapse sidebar button at the bottom of the sidebar. It narrows to an icon bar, and Expand sidebar brings it back. Your choice is remembered in that browser. On phones the menu stays a top bar.
Each tile is a set. Its size is the set’s value (or equal for every set, if you choose that) and its color is how card prices in that set moved over 30 days, 90 days or a year. The Market tab maps every set; the You tab maps your own sets. Each tile states its price source, TCGplayer or eBay asks, and the date the prices are as of.
TCGplayer prices where there are any. Where TCGplayer has none, the tile uses eBay asking prices, which are what sellers are asking right now, not what cards sold for. Every tile says which it is.
Open Settings, go to Privacy & data and choose Download your data. You get a CSV file with every card you own across all sets. It’s free for everyone.
