Reliability and Stability Improvements
On June 17 and into June 18, a database issue briefly made sign-ins fail and parts of PokeTrack slow to load. The issue is resolved, your collection and account data were not affected, and we have hardened the system so it does not happen again.
What happened
A background database slowdown gradually used up the available connections, which made signing in and loading some pages unreliable for a period of time. No collection or account data was lost.
What we fixed
We added automatic recovery safeguards to our database and background jobs, so a temporary slowdown can no longer build up into a wider disruption. The system now clears stuck work on its own and keeps serving requests.
Prices are fully up to date
We refreshed pricing across every set, so card prices, portfolio values, and set completion are all current. We also improved our monitoring so daily price updates stay reliable going forward.
No. The disruption only affected availability for a period of time. Your collection, account, and settings were not changed.
Yes. Pricing has been refreshed across every set, so your portfolio value and set completion reflect current prices.
