See Your Collection in CAD, GBP, EUR and 17 Other Currencies
If you collect outside the US, PokeTrack has always made you do the maths yourself. Every number was in dollars, so working out what your binder was actually worth meant a calculator or a mental exchange rate. That’s gone. Choose your currency once and the whole app follows.
Twenty currencies, one setting
Open Settings → Currency and pick from USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, AUD, NZD, JPY, MXN, BRL, CHF, SEK, NOK, DKK, PLN, SGD, HKD, INR, ZAR, PHP and KRW. Card prices, set values, your portfolio total, price alerts, cost basis and the Buy Now totals all switch immediately. Yen and won show whole units, because nobody prices a card at ¥156.25.
Rates are real, and they refresh every day
Conversion uses the European Central Bank reference rate, pulled fresh every afternoon. The date of the rate you’re looking at is shown right in the setting, so you always know how current the number is. No made-up rates, no stale rate from three months ago.
Why we convert rather than source local prices — read this bit
This is the honest part. The prices PokeTrack tracks are TCGplayer market prices, which is the US market. When you switch to GBP, you are seeing *what that card sells for in America, expressed in pounds* — not what it sells for on Cardmarket or at your local shop. For most cards those are close. For some, especially chase cards, they can differ noticeably, and European prices often run lower. We chose conversion over a second price source deliberately. A full Cardmarket integration is a different project: separate data, different card IDs, its own quirks. Shipping a clean currency toggle now gets most of the value into your hands today, and it means your portfolio, your alerts and your cost basis all speak the same currency instead of mixing two markets. If local-market pricing is something you want, tell us — it’s on the list, and knowing how many people need it moves it up.
Alerts and cost basis just work
Set a price alert at £8.00 and PokeTrack stores it and checks it correctly — you don’t need to think about what that is in dollars. Same for the cost you paid for a card. Type it in your currency, see it back in your currency. Nothing you’ve already saved has been altered; existing values were entered in USD and are simply displayed converted.
It remembers
Your choice is saved to your account and cached on the device, so you won’t see a flash of dollars while the app loads. Switch back to USD any time.
Yes. Open Settings, choose CAD under Currency, and every price in PokeTrack converts at the daily ECB rate. The same works for GBP, EUR, AUD and sixteen other currencies.
No. PokeTrack tracks TCGplayer market prices, which reflect the US market, and converts them at the exchange rate. They are a strong reference but are not the same as Cardmarket or local shop prices, which can be lower for some cards. Local-market pricing is on our roadmap.

Only how they are displayed. Alerts are stored and checked in a single base currency behind the scenes, so an alert set at £8.00 fires at exactly the equivalent price. Switching currencies never changes when an alert triggers.
Not yet. Exports remain in USD for now so they stay consistent with the price source. Displayed values in the app are converted.
