A Real Desktop Layout: Grouped Sidebar Navigation, Faster Bulk Editing and Alert Badge Fixes
Most Pokémon tracking apps are phone-only. PokeTrack works on a real screen, and this release finally makes it look like it. Navigation moves into a grouped sidebar, bulk editing moves next to the table, and three long-standing bugs around the price alert badge are gone.
Grouped sidebar navigation
Ten navigation items in a horizontal bar meant the last few sat off-screen behind a sideways scroll most people never discovered. On screens 1024px and wider, navigation is now a fixed left sidebar organised into Collection, Community, Market and Settings, with the PokeTrack mark at the top. The three Insights panes — You, Market and Sealed — are listed directly in the sidebar and are now individually linkable.
Mobile is deliberately unchanged
Collapsing navigation into a hamburger menu on a phone would hide every secondary feature behind an extra tap. The mobile layout keeps its existing bar, so nothing about the phone experience changes.
Bulk editing moved to where you are looking
Selecting rows in table view used to pin the mass-edit controls to the bottom of the window, far from the table. Those controls now take over the Import/Export row directly above the table, and stay pinned as you scroll a long set. Mark owned, Mark want, Unmark, Pack cost, Set qty and Set cond all work exactly as before — select rows with the header checkbox or shift-click a range.
Price alert badge fixes
The badge showing how many alerts have triggered had two bugs. It only appeared after you opened a set, because the prices it counts against were loaded lazily — it now loads prices for sets with alerts as soon as the app starts. It also vanished after appearing, because opening a set could overwrite the price data the count depended on. If four alerts are triggering, it now shows four and keeps showing four. The badge is also gold rather than red.
Notifications is a proper menu item
The notification bell sat unlabelled at the end of the navigation bar. It is now a labelled Notifications row in the Settings group, with the unread count on the right, and the panel opens beside the sidebar instead of being clipped out of view.

Open any set in table view and use the checkbox in the header row to select every visible card, or click one row and shift-click another to select a range. The bulk controls appear above the table with Mark owned, Mark want, Unmark, quantity and condition. Filtering first means select-all applies only to the filtered rows.
The number is how many of your price alerts are currently triggering — cards whose market price has fallen to or below the target you set. It updates as prices refresh each night and stays visible while those alerts are still triggering.
Yes. The You, Market and Sealed panes each have their own address now, so you can bookmark or share a direct link to the one you want.
